Do you have a Wii yet? Are you getting one for Christmas?
We want a Wii, but probably won't be getting one until after Christmas. Hubby thinks I'll like the Animal Crossing game. I want the Dancing With The Stars game. We also want Carnival games.
What is your favorite Wii game? What game would you recommend to someone else?

I don't have one but a friend of mine does, they have games but i would like to have the get fit one, i think it would be a good way to lose some weight and if you have a family I think the band one where four people play different instruments would be a good one. [lilaclady]
I just saw a commercial for the Wii Fit. I am not interested in it at the moment, I'd rather play a game to lose weight than actually work out. I don't think the music would be fitting for us either. We don't let the kids play very often, and we're not very musically inclined. [katsmeow1213]
We bought one last year and we don't play it near as much as I thought we would. I think it would be way more fun playing with kids. I still like the Wii play games that come with it - the bowling, tennis etc. We rented the carnival games one and it was OK but a lot of the games were the same. Mario Party is a blast, we've played it a few times with friends and even though you look really silly while you're going it you have a ton of fun. I would love to try Wii fit, the commercials make it look like a great idea. [jesssp]
I'm not interested in the Wii fit at the moment, I'm not crazy about working out. We normally rent all our games before we buy them, that's a good way to check it out without spending too much money. [katsmeow1213]
We don't have a wii yet. I want one really bad though. I want to get the wii fit. i haven't really played any of the games yet. my friends have one and they just had the two games that came with it. one had bowling and other sports games on it. bowling was pretty fun. [ravinskye]
Everyone is talking about that Wii Fit. I don't like to work out very much, so I don't see myself using that. I think some of the games are a good enough work out, and more fun too. [katsmeow1213]
My husband is not into video games at all. But at Thanksgiving, he played bowling(!?) on my inlaws Wii and he loved it! Now he wants to get one with our tax returns! Go figure! All it took was BOWLING! [rocketj1]

i use to have a wii as i purchased it on released. I was sad to say that i was dissapointed to say the least. Once the novelty of the controller wears off, you realise that the games arnt much fun at all. So i decided to do the sensible thing and sell it to someone who wanted it :) [carlingtop08]

Yes my fiance and I have a wii. We got it in August and we definitely get a lot of use out of it. My fiances sister will be getting Animal Crossing for Christmas, so I bet you would like it. My fiance likes to play all his games that I don't understand on it :) And I love doing the wii fit! That's basically the only thing I will play on there..but sometimes I do mario cart too. Yea, he's actually thinking of trading all of our old stuff in for a ps3 or a Wii. We have a ps2, n64, psp,super nintendo, gameboy advance and gameboy advance sp. And games for all of them. The only ones that get played a lot are the psp and the gameboy advance. [camomom]
My boyfriend and I just bought Wii last weekend. We think that it will be our gift for ourselves this christmas. Our favorite game is warioland and resident evil. We played Wii last night for almost 4 hours. We can't seem to get enough of resident evil. We also played the Original Games that comes with the box. [tangorange]

Had mine for over a year. I would definitely recommend Super Paper Mario to you. I'd also recommend Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii. (Though I still haven't beat either one of those two.) If you do decide to get any Animal Crossing game, keep in mind that you'll need to play it a lot to get the most out of it. Like, almost daily. (Unless you want lots of weeds, cockroaches in your house and all of your neighbors to be mad at you.) [Marcola]
