What Is Your Favorite Mmorpg That Youve Ever Played

I'm just wondering what is the best mmorpg that you've ever played and stuck to for the longest period of time. My favorite mmorpg was runescape. I stuck to it for like 3 years. It has many features a lot of other games don't have even though it is a browser based game and the graphics suck. It was also the first mmorpg I ever played which made me stick to it even longer. The second best mmorpg I ever played was guild wars. It was a really fun game but once you got to lvl 20 and beat all the missions, there wasn't anything else to really do in the game.

Runescape was fun for awhile, but then i realized how much MORE there was in MMORPGs. Compared to some high end MMORPGS, runescape SUCKS. However, my computer sucks majorly and i am limited to 3D games. I tried one thou, called Rappelz and it was pretty amazing! But my computer started to lag alot and i had to stop playing it. I experimented with some other games and found that Twelve Sky worked on my computer, and it was a beautiful 3D game, but it was kind of boring, as there were no magical powers, it was all samuri.... Last Chaos was amazing too! My once again, computer specs got in the way! Check out Aeria Games for some of the games listed above and more great games! Game On! [shadown_Luna]
Yeah I agree. Runescape was interesting for a while and then just became boring. Plus the graphics suck. I haven't tried Rappelz yet it looks a lot like Last Chaos which didn't really suit me. I didn't really enjoy 12 sky either. Got boring pretty fast. [exodian1]

My favorite one is MapleStory [Chispa514]
Maplestory was interesting for like 3 months but then the grind just killed me. It got really boring doing the same thing over and over again. There isn't much in the game except for grinding. I heard if you have a lot of friends its fun but I only had 1 friend so it got boring fast. [exodian1]

My favorite was a text MUD called Duris. I played it from the age of 10-18 activelly, but now I don't have the time to play. I still log on from time to time for old time sakes. I also played on another text MUD which was similar called Basternae (Duris dispanded for a few years). They are really fun and offer pvp as well as quests. They seemed to involve a bit more skill than the graphic games because of the complexity of code and pure number of commands available. [belhaven14]

EverQuest I think, I really like Shaiya which is a new game and its free. [PixieMischief]
I've never tried out Everquest. Shaiya was pretty fun for me. I really loved the wars at lvl 10 or something. Those were really addicting and awesome. But then the grind just got annoying. Even when I got in a party lvling was slow at lvl 20+. [exodian1]

I was stuck to runescape initially but kinda got bored of the game. Moved on to Sherwood Dungeoun loved it . No downloads were required so I tried it out. Its fun but theres not much to do. But it sure was enjoyable as hell when I used to play it. These according to me would be the games I can relate to playing hours together and hence are my favourite too. [seb2thebest]

ultima online, not sure how long I played, but I'm glad I don't play any MMORPG now. they suck up life [drdeath]
Yeah they do. They're just so freaking addicting(well some of them). Ultima online was pretty good but I just gave up, it wasn't really my kind of game. [exodian1]

I am same sa you, Exodian. 1)runescape-I have still so much to do in this game. 2)guild wars-I 4m th3 1337 pl4y3r n0w(lol...I am not) It just got pretty boring now. (killing monsters, killing monsters, doing missions and killing monsters during missions. [vakundekel]

Guild wars has been the mmorpg that i have stuck to consistantly the longest, 3 years. I've done all of the stuff you can in PVE so i've really shifted my energy towards PVP, which is really good in my opinion. I like how you get a nice variety of PVP with Alliance Battles for a king of the hill type of battle (though it's multiple "hills", same concept). Random Arenas and Team Arenas for small scale team battles, Heroes Accent for large scale multimap chaos, and Guild vs Guild for a traditional base battle. [reon862]

ive tried so many online game but now my favorite is rohan online. if you really love PVP you will surely gonna like this online game. [peachdoll]

Silkroad online. I played it for 2 years, but once it started to affect my grade in school, I quit, and it got boring. Not to mention it was hard to log in because of the traffic. Besides that, it is one of the best games I've played [brianwade]
