I remember playing a game called lemmings, but cannot remember what it was on. I used to think it was the funniest game I had ever played and I remember that I was pretty good at it, I used to sit and play on it for hours and would not go to bed until the early hours of the morning. I know that the game is still about but I have never played on the newer version of it. [gemini_rose]

OK. I'm really going to show my age with this one... The oldest video game I have played is PONG. I believe it was by Atari. I'm not sure if anyone here ever heard of it but it was simply just two lines on opposite sides of the screen. There was a ball that bounced from one side of the screen to the next and you had to move the lines so as not to let the ball disappear from the screen. Back then, I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. [virtual44]
hahahaha i think they can tell you age now.that is also a good game at that time since electronics games where just starting then and PONG was one of the best games ever to come out then.thankshappyhappy [johndur]
we had an atari when they first came out-i used to play something called "target fun" that came with it. crappy graphics, but still fun. they eventually made "missle command" for that, and that was one of the favorites.that and breakout. [scarlet_woman]
that was also a very good game to play with...very challenging at that time.thankshappyhappy [johndur]
I remember playing contra,mario , tetris [icy_ice82000]

Mario was the first ever game I played.. then came contra and all the new games they released after that.. [bournecaindelta]
thanks those are also good games to play with.thankshappy [johndur]
I do remember hearing about Galaga but never played the game. The oldest game I have played is Nintendo's Pinball. I use to sit for very long periods with one of our kids and play. We sat on the floor in our family room, would take drinks and make an afternoon of this fun game. This was probably close to 20 years ago. [carolbee]
nice game.yes it was a long time ago and is the beginning of electronics game then.lots of good memories come with it also.thankshappyhappy [johndur]
I have Galaga! Actually my partner has it. He has a few old systems like the Atari Lynx and he even has an Intellevision which I think was the first console developed (I could be wrong but it was one of the first). it's fun to play some of the old games from time to time. It's also amazing to see how far video games have come along in just 30 years-look at the Wii! If people could have looked into the future and seen people playing the Wii they would have been amazed. I do look forward to (I think...) to seeing how good gaming systems will be in another 20 years time. Oh and my first console was the Sega MAster System II. Alex Kidd in Miracle World is the best game ever K thx. [coffeeshot]
wow,you are one good gamer.do you collect gaming consoles?you seems to know a lot about it.yea people then would really be amazed how gaming technology has advanced in such a short time.im sure they will come up more amazing gaming technologies in the future and im looking forward to that.thankshappyhappyhappy [johndur]
For me it will be Final Fantasy 2 ,4 it has the best story and i don't think the graphics is that bad .. even now i still love the 2D graphics drawing yea . [Sir_bobby88]

Well as I'm 20 years old I can't remember the first games wich turned out. But I remember Prince of persia. I was maybe 4 years old and I remember that I was afraid of playing it. So I asked my dad to play it and I had just watched:D [issacc20]

hi johndur, i also know galaga, but i think the oldest is the one played in the brick game, tetris, i think and those variations of race games. still loving it, digerati [digerati]
oh yeah the brick game it is one of the oldest game after the atari game console.i love playing that too but i hate it when i reached the fastest level. thanks for your response. [johndur]
hi john! happy i know Galaga! i have played that before as well. but i think the last video game i played was either Battle City or Bomber Man. those two are the favorite games here in our house. my nieces and nephew would play them until someone tell them to turn off the tv. ^__^;; now i'm thankful that our video game player is broken. energy and money are saved. wink [secretbear]
i love playing those games too....happyhappy [johndur]
I don't remember what the particular games were but I remember playing them on a system called Atari....very old! [angemac23]
wow, that was really an old console you got there... [johndur]
It's called 'Volfied'. You are a pilot of a ship and you return to your planet - Volfied - but you discover it's been invaded by aliens. Your mission is to rescue the people, but in order to succeed you have to conquer 80% of the territory in each level. I was addicted to it. [blademaiden]
wow i never knew that there is that kind of game.how i wish i could have played that one. thanks for your response. [johndur]
When I was little my cousin had an Atari I remember playing games on it but not sure what they were called. I think one might have been Asteroids then there was a carnival game too that was really fun. I do remember the first Mario game too on Nintendo. [luvstochat]
Don't laugh. The oldest game that I remember playing is Pong. That's right, me and my sister used to love getting up early on the weekends and playing Pong. It's a game of true skill, a lot like tennis. It really take some skill to hit the little dot with the tiny line. I wonder if my sister still remembers. LOL! [Naylani]
WOW!that was really one old game you got then.because of that i will give you the best response here.i wonder how old are you now.LOL! thanks for your response... [johndur]
