Hey all gamers out there, what have you got your hands on these days??
Me, I just finished Grand Theft Auto:Vice city stories, and now I'm into God of War 2, I must say I'm really enjoying it too. Especially all those brutal kills, hauahahahaha, (that's my evil laugh). Having a great time playing this one!!!

Dude, you do realize I'm a girl, right.... And if you do, and you still think this, then well, I'm not really into girls. I'm straight.. [vega83]
Real classics. Just finished RTK3 for maybe 528th time. Tried Pirates but somehow the game won't start properly. *pout* I am onto Railroad Tycoon for the 98th time now. [lordwarwizard]
A good laugh? o.o Did someone say good laugh? I want a good laugh too. I gotta get me one of those too now. [vega83]
I like playing all kinds of games really but the one i play more than others is Soldier of Fortune 2, its a first person shooter game and i play it online for at least a few hours per day. I also enjoy strategy games such as command and conquer and age of empires and i am looking forward to playing the new command and conquer game once i get my new pc. I also love racing sims like Toca and still enjoy playing the first toca game. Sometimes also, i play rollercoaster tycoon one or two because, well, i enjoy it so much. [darkness01]
I love strategy games too, but I mostly play on the ps2 and not many strategy games are available on that. But there are good ones still. [vega83]
I had been playing Okami since Chrismas, but then my free time disappeared and when I come back to it now, I have no idea where I'm up to. So I'm putting it on hold, and planning to replay it during the summer. Recently I've started FFXII. I'm one of those players that finishes a game 3/4, and then stops playing due to lack of time, and then replays the entire thing again later in a 2 day marathon. [hachimitsu]
oh yeah, okami, I'd heard it's one of the best of 2006, but I haven't gotten around to getting it yet. I did start FFXII recently but unfortunately now my ps2 refuses to read that CD for some reason, and so I cannot play any further. I know what you mean, about getting back to a game, after a long time, I don't do that usually, but it has happened once or twice, and then you find that you don't remember the story line and the controls and you start all over again. [vega83]
Well, I just got a Nintendo ds-lite, so now I'm playing a bunch of those games in addition to teh ones I have to my Nintendo Wii. I just finished Cooking Mama ont he ds-lite and I think I am going to focus on Phoenix Wright next. I'm glad that I waited to get my system though because now I can get the used games pretty cheaply. This is especially good because I seem to be going through them rather quickly. [krebstar5]
Yeah, I know what you mean, I'm a fast gamer too, go through games in mere days, sometimes one or two days even, so even I prefer to get the used copies, so i don't break the bank. I don't know about Nintendo games, I'm a ps2 gal myself. But I've had my eye on the Nintendo Wii for quite a while. Seems really interesting.. [vega83]
I was playing far cry and then half-life 2 but I got bored lol. I install football manager 2007 recently but got bored :). I went through a long time not playing anything and it's great to come back after a time and see what's new and get's people buzzing. I actually wanted to try the ps2 emulator on the pc but at the moment my computer isn't powerful enough and I can't really afford a second hand unit. Sucks - but at the moment i'm just waiting for something to take my fancy. Goodluck [Jakker27]
I know, the limitations of the PC, I used to play games on my PC too before, but then there are so many different upgrades that you gotta do, so I got a ps2 instead, at least, I won't need extra stuff for it. But one thing I can't do on that is play thief 3: deadly shadows, I have the game but need a new graphics card, and it's not on the ps2, only on the xbox, now that sucks!! [vega83]
I personally am not playing any at the moment. I spend too much time here. LOL My husband has been playing a few though. He plays Resistance: Fall of Man, the Godfather, FEAR and Moto-Storm All on PS3 [zukepr]
I've played the godfather on the ps2, it's a great game!!!! [vega83]
Hi vega, at the moment Iīm on playing the 3rd part of Thief which is a really good one. The old city levels look very nice and atmospheric, light & shadow effects are just great. Donīt understand why the developers added a 3rd person view but to speak for my own I prefer the first sight as itīs much more intense. Yeah thatīs a thing I was thinking of when I finished the 2nd part of Splinter Cell so I was hoping that Ubi soft would ad a first person sight into the game as I would really like to play Splinter Cell in that sight of view, sadly it didnīt appear. Itīs the same with Fatal Frame 2 as in the directors cut you could also choose the first person sight and I allways like playing games in first person. We have already talked about Fahrenheit so befor that I was playing the 4th part of Myst called Revelation on my pc, which is a great game I like those kind of aventure games. So let me think as I havenīt played that much games this year as I also took a break from playing a while, a I also played Collin McRay 2005 Yeah.. during other games I like to play a good racing game. bye [Lewah69]
I love games like that, the kind that stimulate your brain, and really make you think, it's good brain exercise and so much fun. I hope I get this one soon. [vega83]
What I play depends on what I'm using... On my PS2, I am currently playing Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge (I really have to get Burnout Dominator!) and they are really just about the only racing games that I really like! Other games I play a lot are Guitar Hero, SSX 3, Tony Hawk's Project 8, Mortal Kombat Armegeddeon and SmackDown! Vs Raw 2007. For the most part, exteme sports and fighting games make up my collection for my PS2 On my PSP I'm totally addicted to the last game I bought, which is Puzzle Quest: Challenge Of The Warloards which is puzzle/RPG mash-up. I've had the gasme for 3 days and I just find it so hard to put down! I have quite a few games to play on my PSP, and others I really REALLY like are WTF: Work Time Fun, SmackDown! Vs Raw 2006, Zendoku, Payout Poker & Casino and Who Wants To Be a Millionaire. Although I use my PSP a lot for when I'm travelling (I don't travel well if I have nothing to do) I do play it a lot at home or when I'm wating for someone. I must admit for my PSP I have mainly puzzle and minigames as I like having something I can just pick up and play. For the PC I have one game that I play and us a lot and that is Sims 2. I have been a fan of this game and it's predicessor for ages, but The Sims 2 means a lot more to me as it was the way I got involved with Pacemaker UK (the people who make The Turds, which I collect) and eventually lead to me kind of being part of the team as I am vice president of the Turds collector club. I have all the expansions for this game and all the official downlopads I could find and they are all I use barring the things I make myself (I have done promotional downloads for Happy Tree Friends, Comtemplating Reiko, The Turds, Blairs Death Sauce and Dave's Insanity Sauce among others). Other games I have on my Pc and are played now and then are Manhunt, Neverwinter Nights, Tony Hawk's Underground 2, Bookworm and Monopoly Here And Now. On my mobile phone I have 4 games on there....Rayman Bowling, Top Trumps Mobile: Star Wars Episodes I-III, Repton and Fruit Frolic. I play them now and then (usually if I have forgotten my PSP and I have actually remembered my mobile phone!) and while away the time when I need to. I also have loads of retro games on various formats (and lots of games ROMs and emulators) which I also play a lot as well. [Dumpertaker]
Yeah, games can sure be good to help us unwind, in a physically non-violent way. [vega83]
Hey Vega83, I am playing Baldurs Gate 2 right now. It is absolutely amazing. The depth and side missions available is huge. One of my favorite RPG's. I am also making my way through The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I missed out on the N64, so I just picked up a used Gamecube and all of the Zelda games that run on that system. Wow I am super impressed and please to be playing Ocarina. I now understand why gamers say it is in the top 10 of all time! Keep mongering and have fun. [Stormshadow]
Well then, if I can play Baldurs Gate on my PC then I better get to it... I'll try to get myself that one pretty soon. Let you know how I like it.. [vega83]
I tend to go in spurts when it comes to areas of interest, for example I was on a big reading kick, and then stopped to play Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories, though I am frustrated by that game at the moment. I don't play the games as well or as quickly as you do, so it takes me longer to get through them. I got on an old movie kick as well and there is a new channel that we get on direct tv, called Chiller which plays a lot of the old scary movies, as well as the old alfred hitchcock shows, and things along those lines, so I recently saw the Bad Seed, Village of the Dammned, Children of the Damned. So for me it kind of goes in spurts I spent a couple of days doing nothing but playing Vice City Stories, yet haven't played it in days, while my partner is playing Vice City Stories as well, he is switching it out with a game called Marked Men, he just finished replaying Mafia. So at times we tend to play more than one game at a time, or he does, and I tend to go back and forth from reading, movies, computer time, and the game. I spent so much time on the games, Vice City Stories and others, and reading and movies that I didn't really spend any time online this month, I think today is the first time I have been on mylot in the month of May. [nowment]
Wow, seriously, before this, I didn't even know about the air ambulance or the fire copter. That's why I'm only sitting at 40%, ha ha. [vega83]
At the moment I switsh between the playstation2 and the nitendo64. The game I play the most and like the best are 007 The world is not enough, Perfect dark, Gauntlet, Zelda. On the Playstation2 I enjoy GTA San Andreas, Hitman2, Sims Busting out, Lord of the rings. I really enjoy GTA the best though as there is so much you can do within the one game. Driving, shooting, and heaps more. I love it. [fawcey]
Well, haven't played the game you're both talking about, so I'll just keep my mouth shut about that. But I gotta say this, you're so right about GTA, that is the best!!!! [vega83]
i actualy play sims 2 on my psp, tekken 5 on ps2, and my adorable quake 2 on pc [mir11111]
well I played sims 2 on the ps2 so, I guess I don't what possibilities there are if you play on the PC, but it sounds good, I think if it's that popular then they'll probably incorporate that when it's released on the next gen consoles. [vega83]
hi friend i play cricket which is my favroite game anf football shetal etc [ankit272]
Well, actually I was talking about video games, I guess it would help to read the discussion through next time. [vega83]
