As far as I'm concerned , most of video games aren't so good for health, because they take a large space in our time , almost of people who play games , spend hours in front of their PCs playing on the net ,Would think that this habbie is healthy for our selves ?? What would be your advices as a help for those people who can not stop playing ??
For me , video games are something special and very cool , if we know how to reorganize our skatjourny .

Playing video games is good when it is played for less time. Research shows that we can have better control over machines and vehicle if we play video games. And our response time also decreases and hence we can act lot faster. But it doesn't mean that we should spend hours on it. Playing video game for 5 or 6 hours a week is good but playing hours and hours in a day has adverse effects on our communication skills. Anyway enjoy mylot and happy mylotting! [ab4ever]
Yeah , you are right my friend , playing games is good , but if we do play it more then what we should , it will be unhealthy for us , specially for our children ..as you have said these researches have proved that video games improve the person's skills such as , if we take for exemple , driving games ( races ,..) , it gives ideas about some correct ways to use these rides ... I personally think there is nothing wrong with video games as long as you play them in moderation,I have been a video game player since I was a kid,and I still play them obsessively to this day,but I do not play them for longer than a couple hours at a time,I like war games, and stealth games, and whenever I am really stressed I will play them and they help me relieve my stress and make me feel better, which is a good thing. [hellcowboy]
So , what I do understand from your response is that playing games didn't hurt you , unlike it helps you some times in some cases or situations , for me , playing games , specailly strategie games helped me lot of times in my school creer , I got from it some information that I would know if I didn't play them ,and which did help me in studying . Video games bad for the health? I don't think so. Video games are recreational tools, and it actually develops our minds further, making us think more. I personally prefer RPGs as it really does make you a thinker. No-brainer games such as shooters are very good mind exercise too, as they practice tactics and perception, as well as reflexes. Video games have various good effects, really. People just see it bad because they make the games control them and not the reverse of it. Just like you say, it takes up a lot of time. But who decides how to use the time? US. So we are the responsible ones, and not the video games. TO those who cannot stop playing, I don't blame you. Don't be addicted, it's just that easy. For me, playing too much never affected my studies, not until college. Kind of made me less focused on stuff. But now, it kind of just relaxes me when I'm not on the mood, and I tend to get tired of the games. And I finished on time, so I guess it doesn't affected me that much. It really depends on the person. But it's really good for the mind. For the eyes? Hmm...not that much, especially with a CRT TV or monitor. Yeah. Have a nice day. [ishralene09]
You have told right my friend , it is "we" who controll the time that we pass in palying video games , so it depends on us to change our habbies and to resolve the problem with a raisonnable way ,which makes an equal line betwen playing and being obbsisse with , so let's do it , what are we waiting for . [cossacks10]
For me, video games are so good because you can find your rest to playing a diferent games, and you can be enjoy if you play a games. all the people know that playing a video games take a large space in our time, but we can organise our time and don't loose a large time to play a video games. [shalk_man]
All what it does matter , in your opinion , about games , is having fun ; I respect that , but for me , playing games should be as educative as possible if we wanna build a psitive person , an actif one , games must combinited with ways to reach the knowledge by having fun , not only giving fun and some times , destroying montalities . [cossacks10]
video games are like a double-edged sword we can enjoy with it and if we play a lot it become a bad thing [boykhawar]
Nice proverb , I do totally agree with you , video games can improve minds , ideas , ways of thinking ... as they can do the invess , destroying all skill and abilities ,so to get the positive side of it , we should absolotly do reorganize our times and give it only a small period to play it ( one or one and half our per day). [cossacks10]
for me i think is both bad and gooood !!! bad buceause ha teache we the bad information about peopel or he give we a bad picture with blad girles with out clothes so is very dangeroux !! but if we choose the gretast video games extremely we can get a lot of good things e.g : the method to have the best sulotion of many thing or he teache we obout the historique... !! finaly if we want to talke about this subject the discussion were be very long so choose the best video games !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yhx - - - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - - - - - -- - - - [dravril15]
This is an other way to look at things , what I did understand from your response is that the most of games are bads and unhealthy for us , specailly the aggressive ones , becuase they theach children bad hobbies such as killing people , stealling cars , money ... Nice opinion .. [cossacks10]
No all video games are bad for everyone. but they can be addicting to some. My daughters doctor wants her to play video games. he actually told her to do so. because it helps with kids who have problem swith eye hand coornation. It also helps kids who have a hard time concentrating on things long enough to sit down for a spell. It also helsp force kids with lazy eyes to force that lazy eye to acyailly work. My daughter eye has gone from 200/20 to 80/20 just by playing video games while wearing her glasses. [rusty2rusty]
Very nice experience my friend , it is very helpful you know , who could think that video games can be a medicament , it does now ; thank you for your response , it was a very interesting one ,and I hope that your sister will get better as soon as possible , thanks again . [cossacks10]
I love video games but I just don't understand how people can play non-stop (a.k.a grinding in MMORPGs). They just play and play and play (while repeatedly killing the same thing(s)) and don't stop! [bluezor]
It is a sort of disease which affect weak people , they change from players to slavers , all what it matters in their lives is playing and playing and playing .. there are some other raisons such as the community affectations , the person can be kept alone , and do not have so mutch friends whith who he will pass time and to do some different habbies , so he find on his or her video game the only partner to share with his or her ideas, opinions and skills way not. [cossacks10]
I think video games are fun. I play a lot of them. But they must be used in balance as anything else in life. Too much of any one thing is limiting to ones growth even as an adult. [SketcherD]
Yeah my friend , I agree with you , every thing must be used by limits , specially video games , we have to precise the time that we would play it , and to be caution about this point of "time" , most of us do not give time its right value . [cossacks10]
I think it's a good way to kill some time when you are bored with nothing to do. i feel silly as a 31 yr old sitting in front of my playstation sometimes. But every one does it.It is the way of the world these days. I think that some people do spend a little too much money on the different game systems that are out there. Take a friend of mines for example, he started out with playstaion one, like most of us did, then he got a PS2, like myself, and he also owns a PS3 and all the xbox game systems. I can't even count the number of games he has for each system. Not to mention a playstation portable. I look at all the games he has for his PS2 that are just sitting there collecting dust. Video game companies are really making money off people like that. I play video games just like the next guy, but as far as making purchases on new video games, and running out to get every new system that comes out is something I don't do. I started out with a nintendo and then a sega genesis. All I played at the time was NBA LIVE, back in the late 90's. I'm kinda old school with games, being that once I find a game I like that's all I play. I've had my Ps2 forever and have been playing MLB The show 07, and I'll never buy another baseball games again. Mainly because with this latest MlB game, I have noticed that you can create or edit a players name on any team in franchise mode. So If there is any superstar that is not in the game, all I have to do is edit the name and physical appearance of one of the computer made players and he's there. for example, the Tampa Bay Rays rookie 3rd baseman Evan Longoria, He was not in the game, so I looked him up online, got his stats and created him. One thing I don't like about games, is that they are too short. unless you play games online, I do at my friends house, but not my mines, you will have a game that you finish abd it will just be sitting there. I also purchased a game called "BULLY" 2yrs ago. I played the game, finished it, and now it's collecting dust. I have no motivation to play the game from the begining and go through the same story over again. I think thet should create games that never end. Till this day I have never heard anybody say they have beaten Super Mario brothers. That's the type of game I like. It's possible for you to beat it, but it will take you forever to do it. Of course there are many vidoe game freaks out there who spend many ours sitting in front of there computers or xboxes, wasting there life away. Kids today sit in front on their video games instead of going outside. A guy I worked with told me that his step son had no friends. He said all he does is play video games 24/7. He tried to get him to go play sports,or do something constructive, but he can't get him from infront of the television. I look at things like this as a problem, because the kids today, all they wanna do when they get home is half do their chores and homework so they can hurry up and get to their video games. The guy at my job told me his step son comes to the diner table, half eats his food, stuffing it down his throat as fast as he can, just so he can get back to playing his xbox. That's to me is a problem. But then again I have to look at it another way. If you have kids,at least they are in the house safe instead of out in the street causing trouble, or god forbid if trouble were to find them. I think íf I had kids it would be better knowing that they are akive and safe in the house hooked on a video game, rather than out in the street hooked on crack. [stinge]
Nice reply my friend , it seems very rich and helpful ,.. as I got from you response , you seem that you have a great experience with games , you have tried all kind of them and you played them most of your times , so cool to share some thing like that ! [cossacks10]
