i like psp because i am having it. its having everything which a ps2 has and even more.you can connect to a tv using a cable cord, you can even port it with you in your pockets. the best things i like it is that you can download its games, you just need to get your psp cracked from an expert then download your game from the net.i use bittorrent for that.
the negative point in psp is that it doesnt give shakes when you are playing like in ps2. but overall I think psp is better,

i more likely to playon ps2 because psp has smaller view and has battery usage ...but on ps2 we can easily play on tv big screen and for long long time without any battery problems also we can modify ps2 but not psp.these are all the problems wit h psp..therefore if u r going to buy then buy ps2 instead of psp thats my suggestion for u...psp games are very verycostily about 1500 and so gud games but ps2 modifiying games are only for rs 30 or rs 50 in some places...rate varies we can also download the ps2 games and play [karankhanna04]

i like ps2 better, psp is great since it is portable and you can bring it anywhere but the games that you can play in it is shrinked from its original value unlike if you play it in the ps2. sometimes games in ps2 that are playable in ps2 have no voiceovers or maps are reduced etc. the graphics too, anyway i like ps2 better since i get to feel the overall quality of the game. I have nothing against the psp since we also have psp at home actually we have ps2 and psp haha, but i guess i am more relaxed when playing the ps2 than in the psp since i get to see the game in a bigger screen and enjoy the game to its fullest :D btw i download games of ps2 through the net too :D [enciel]

i think psp is good portable console...so i never bought a game console before but i think psp is better!!I think it is really functional and enable you to play everywhere with a good graphic and favourite titles!!I think also the other functionalities for psp are ood and so it will be a nice choice for a portable entertainment as regards games!! I just got a PS3 for my birthday and the only thing I don't like is that it's not backwards converting, I haven't had a chance to try out the PSP part yet so that'll be next but I'm loving the quality of the graphics and game play a great deal on the PS3; I still have my PS2 and enjoy that to bits as well. playstation 2 has a very good selection of games. The PSP isn't really hat good unless you hack it to play emulators and homebrew. So for me, my PSp is kinda like a portable Supernintendo and sega genesis. [nightmare41]

i would go with Play Station 2. It has a wider range of games that u can play on it, and it's fun to play with other people on a wide sreen. As well as using the controllers is way more fun and eiasier than using a psp. [Rafayel]
I awaited the Sony PS2 with great anticipation. The ps1 was an amazingly well designed console. Simple architecture and very powerful performance for its day. The PS2 threw away that design philosophy and has gone for a complicated multi processor design just like the old Sega Saturn they used to criticise. The worst thing about the ps2 is that important features are missing. It has no hardware anti-aliasing. It has no hardware texture compression. The actual resolution it renders games in can be as low as 320x200 but more likely 640x200 and then the resolution is artificially doubled to create 640x400 which is still less than older consoles like the dreamcast. These factors combined means the ps2 suffers from very jaggy graphics and to make matters worse it doesn't have a built in flicker fixer which is dead handy in the pal market more than in the us. Result most flickery graphics of any modern console. It does however run many games at 50fps (50 half frames per second). The floating point, memory bus and general transfer speeds are very good and much internally is 128bit wide but the main integer cpu is rubbish - worse than Dreamcast (marginally). It always surprises many people that the Dreamcast is in many ways more powerful than ps2 as can be seen in games like shenmue. However for sheer polygon power the ps2 is obviously more powerful. However the dc does have twice as much video memory, hardware texture compression, anti-aliasing, tile based rendering (massively reduces slowdown in complicated 3D scenes by only rendering what can be seen). The result is that the ps2 is struggling to outperform the dc let alone compete with the far more powerful gamecube and xbox. Basically it's a safe bet and there are some very playable games but don't expect to be that impressed with what you see. Underneath it's pretty poor as next gen consoles go. psp ofcourse. just 1 reason can not be taken to say ps2 is better. when you get a custom firmware on psp then your ps2 is of nearly no need as you can use applications and you can use as a remote for your pc gaming and stuff. also portable internet with you. [johnsinghcena]
I like PS2 althrough PSP is very easy to take and portable PSP's cofiguration is not match to PS2's. And PSP battery's power is limited, the important is that its screen be badly to our players' eyes. [donny070]
