My husband bought an Xbox for me. It's a real surprise. When we just got married and at that time I was younger and I liked playing games. Now it's different because we have a child. Last night we were sneaky to play Xbox as I don't want my child to play it. He's too little to play it. And I am afraid it'll harmful for his eyesight.
It's a late surprisewink I don't know how much time we can play with it together. Perhaps when our child falls asleeplol

lol You sure sound like a kid yourself. All excited! Have fun with your Xbox. By the way, I never had an Xbox, so have no idea what is so exciting about it. :) Cheers and happy mylotting [positiveminded1977]
I think the games of Xbox is somewhat much more difficult than the PC games. As your views will be changed especially when you don't get used to the joystick. [youless]
Good evening, youless. It is so nice of your husband to get you a surprise that can bring you some entertainment in your spare time. But I don't think that it is easy for you to always hide to play the games after your little son goes to bed at night. The little boy will sure want to have a try for it. It is very easy for kids to get addicted to playing computer games. So be careful while playing the games without letting him falling in love with it. Good luck to you, youless. [williamjisir]
Actually I don't have more spare time to play the games. After my child goes to bed and I just have few hours to be left before I go to sleep. This is why usually I go to sleep late. Perhaps next time when we play it, it will be in the New Yearlol [youless]
That is so sweet of your husband... to give you an xbox... most husbands would rather have the xbox for themselves... playing it with him will surely be a good way for the two of you to bond... and i also agree that your son is much to young to play with... so just do it when he is already asleep... [aseretdd]
Actually my husband isn't very interested in the games of Xbox. He thinks I like playing games like that but he forgot that nowadays we don't have so many spare time for it. [youless]

You really found a good girlfriend [youless]
hahahaha... sounds cute. it's okay for adults to play xbox. have a quality times with your husband, and maybe when your children old enough, play with your child, xbox can bring a family together. it's a positive thing. but not to get over addicted lol [germany_fan]
Perhaps later we have to buy one more joystick as we have one nowwink [youless]
Wow, what a great surprise, youless! I am thinking about getting one of these for a gift as well. Do you like xBox the best? Why? What games do you like? Happy playing! [Transdisc]
I can't imagine you as a bad guy, youless!! [Transdisc]
Why be sneaky about it? Teach your son the importance of time management and that everything has a time and place. Including entertainment time on the Xbox. If that does not work, set up a TV and the console in your bedroom loh! Then you and your hubby can spend all the time to play with it in the privacy of your own bedroom! lol [ahgong]
I think the Xbox games are violent and children are easy to be addicted to it. It'll be harmful for his eyesight since my child is about 4.5 years old. [youless]
I am sure with their wide range of games available, you will be able to find one with a child theme. I remember seeing quite a few of them on the shelves at the local supermarket. Just need to go around hunting for one. Then, with proper training and rules in place, I am sure they will not abuse the xBox. Just ensure that you and your husband enforce the rules. Otherwise, like I said, set it up in your bedroom. You can your husband can have endless fun with it at your own time. wink [ahgong]
lol More excuses to go shopping for gadgets!lol lol [ahgong]
What a lovely surprise! Sometimes when we use something too much it doesn't have so much fun, so when you have precious time and don't get to use something often it becomes more of a treat and something to look forward to, therefore it becomes even more enjoyable! I am sure you will find the time to play and it's good you have a great relationship with your husband so that you can do things together like play games! Enjoy my friend! [wolfie34]
Perhaps later we have to buy one more joystick so that my husband and I can play it together. [youless]
Hi youless, LOL! I am sure if your child will see you playing it, he will also love that! That is a great plan, wait when he sleeps! LOL! ENjoy!happyhappyhappy [checapricorn]
It goes without sayingwink [youless]
The Xbox is a thoughtful gift from your husband. I suppose the reason he gave it to you is that with a small child you are less mobile and can't leave home as frequently as you used to earlier, so you can stay busy at home. I agree it is a little late. if he had given it to you whne th echild was in arms or a toddler, perhap you would have made better use of it. Anyway enjoy it and have fun whenever you can. [mercuryman3a]
Actually we seldom go out at night. Besides going to work, I spend most of my spare time with my familyhappy [youless]
When my kids were little, the Nintendo 64 was popular and had been out for a while. I just couldn't afford it. With my limited budget, it wasn't worth it. But, then I discovered a pawn shop that had one and I was able to get one with the original games and Duck Hunt gun for $25. We had a blast with that thing. It was old hat for others, but it was brand new to us. We bought all our games second hand or traded them with neighbors if we got one they hadn't played. I have to admit, I did have fun with that thing. That was the last game system we ever had. They started coming out with so many so quickly and the prices were just too high. Now, my computer is my toy and for my daughter, her "do everything" cell phone is hers. My son lives too far away, so I don't know what he has. [jerzgirl]
Wish my son will grow up soon so that we can enjoy playing games together. But I have to say that nowadays some games are not good for children because they are very violent. [youless]
Hi youless...honestly i ahve no idea what is xbox games..But since your husband lovingly bought it for you ,you can play and give it to your son when he is older..... [Roseo8]
ok thanks for the information....But be careful while introducing your son to such games..Boys get easily addicted to it,and they end up playing it all the time,as they grow older.Thye give up on physical activities and even take up thier study time for playing..So you have to be strict about that...........rolleyes [Roseo8]
Happy gaming on xbox. I also used to be a gamer and stayed quite a lot of time playing adventure or strategy games on computer. © ronaldinu 2008 [ronaldinu]
I think the games of Xbox is difficult than the computer games. It's easy to make me dizzylol [youless]
