I try to sit down with a sudoku puzzle in the morning when I'm having my coffee. It helps to get my brain started for the day. I often get stuck on these darn puzzles. Does anyone have any good stradegies for solving them?

I just tried playing that game for the first time on pogo.com the other night. I sucked at it lol, so sorry, can't help with any tips. OMG! I couldn't do those things in school! LOL and I was always good in math. All I can think of is there is no way that I would try to do 1 first thing in the morning.. I don't think it would start my day off very well! Maybe 1 of these days I will pick some up and give it a try.. but would do it late at night... when the kids and hubby are sleeping and its all quiet in the house.. [adams03605]
I like to do them now and again but sometimes they can be really frustrating. I used to avoid them, till my mum sat me down one day and taught me how to do them, I've been hooked ever since, but I can't do them on the computer, makes my eyes hurt. I always do them in the paper, addictive things too, I would be interested too if anyone has any 'tips' on how to crack them. [wolfie34]

sudoku is easy.im not bragging but i can look at one of those games and solve them in a few seconds.honest.i dont see why some people have trouble with them. [jimbo45]
its simple really,take a step back from the puzzle first and visualize it like a jigsaw. [jimbo45]
I really like to do Sudoku once in awhile. I don't really have any strategies. I will only do it when I have some nice quiet time. I don't like interruptions when I am doing it because then I sometimes make mistakes. [aimee750]

whenever I find some free time I do this...mostly in the evenings. And ofcourse before reading books I try to solve these puzzles. I dont know any strategy but it is a very good brain teaser i can say. [r_anithain]
