in terms of gameplay, AI, and graphics... warcraft is the best. the AI are really hard to beat even if you use cheats, to be able to beat those AI's you must really prepare a strategy plan. the graphics are great but still doesn't need a powerful video card to play. for me warcraft is one of the best strategy game. Warcraft is better in terms of graphic and AI. If only Starcraft can improve the graphic and AI, I think they would become everybody's favourite. Warcraft 3 is a very good strategy game. Challenging and difficult; I've not managed to even finish The Frozen Throne. Lol but I finished Starcraft. Both of them are good anyway. [aissar]
I have the game (full) Starcraft and Brood war and played them and still like this game. Warcraft is a cool game to, I love games that have characters that uses magic. So I say both are cool. [sunchild2000]
I like them both. I even still like to dust off the original Warcraft and WarcraftII. Even though it doesn't play as smooth as the others it does has a good storyline and is challenging. I'd have to say I prefer Warcraft, but I am a little biased. I'm one of those nerds that doesn't really like sci-fi futuristic fantasy. I've never been able to get into Star Wars or any of that stuff. Throw me some medievial fantasy, though, and I'm all over it. [Kappen]
i'll have to go with warcraft. to me personally, they are both similar in many aspects. like buildin ur structures and ur units. the one thing that separates them, and that for me makes warcraft better, is the heroes. and by the way peeps, onionmongo isn't talking bout DOTA to begin with =) [iamdede]
Starcraft for sure, although I feel dota is very popular coz it is playable even by a beginner and concentration on a single hero requires lesser strategy. You miss the fun of sudden massive attacks :) . Starcraft is the game I adore ever since I saw it the first time. [vamshidher]
