Well i already have the wii and i'm really interested of Xbox 360 because of all the cool games it has [korki4]
We have the ps2 and wii. My grandson still has his favorite games for the ps2 and some other new games that he cannot get for the wii yet. But as far as me, I love the wii because the wii fit gives me so much fun and exercise when I will do it. I love watching my grandkids playing on it when I sit down to rest. God bless you! The Wii fit is awesome. However I that EA Active is a way better way to use the wii for exercise. It has preset workout programs (which you can customize) so that you don't have to spend a ton of time setting up each activity like on the wii fit. [ladyhope]
i have the nintendo wii and xbox 360, the nintendo wii its pretty fun i enjoy playing it, and the xbox 360 has a lot of cool and violent games, u just cant top playing gear of war on xbox live, plus its cheaper than the ps3, but the ps3 well its like the whole package it has blu-ray, DVD,internet browser and games and all of that but it doesn't have a lot of cool games, and since like the basic idea of a game console is well the games thats why i prefer wii for playing like fun, family games with my little brother, and the xbox 360 for more mature games with friend.. Hello pranavpillai93, Currently I am a proud owner of the Nintendo Wii and the XBOX 360 game consoles. I enjoy both of them equally for different reasons. The Nintendo Wii I got as a gift, and was not too optimistic about it due to the reviews I had read about its very unique control system, which was a tad hard to grasp. Not to mention that it lacked the graphical power of its next-gen competitors, and its games were targeted at a younger audience. However, I managed to get some excellent games, such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii and The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. I grew up on the Nintendo 64, and so such games brought back fond memories, and were really a joy to play - I quickly grabbed up the innovative control system, and in the games where it was not favorable, I easily switched to a Gamecube Controller which I had also gotten as a gift. The XBOX 360 was my actual first purchase of a game console, (the majority of them had been given to me as gifts), and this was due to me falling in love with it at a friend's house. The Halo franchise alone justifies the cost of purchasing an XBOX 360. In addition, it had the Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion as an exclusive at the time - arguably THE best role playing game made today, and if you did not appreciate it, you could always settle for Fable or Fable 2 - two more strong competitors in the RPG region. The XBOX 360 also had its fair share of great racing games, such as Midnight Club, Burnout and Need for Speed. However, I find I am not very attracted to the PS3, because I can do practically all of its advertised "extra" features on the consoles I currently own. For example, the PS3 was dubbed as a huge media player, and had an expensive media player utilizing Blu-Ray discs too boot, resulting in a very high price tag. This alone was a significant deterrent for me, and as I expected, the Blu-Ray market is declining quite rapidly. Additionally all of the media features touted for the PS3 can easily be accomplished with the XBOX 360 using Windows Media Extender, allowing me to stream music, pictures and movies from my laptop to my XBOX 360 - brilliant. Furthermore, I found that none of the games on the PS3 warranted a purchase for it. While I understand that the Final Fantasy Series is one of the most popular, gripping and epic RPG series made to date, I have not been a fan of the series, and was not motivated to become one as yet. Additionally, the only other games I saw that looked worthwhile, were Metal Gear Solid and a unique type of platform game called LittleBigPlanet, the latter which I can easily see losing its replay value quite quickly. However one of its advantages over the XBOX 360, is that its online capabilities are free and it comes with a browser and the addition to install a Custom OS, such as Linux on it, thus increasing its features further (although GPU access is quite limited, preventing 3D games from being run when in Linux). However the Nintendo Wii easily steps up to the plate because its online service while not as spiffy as the PS3's is free and gets the job done satisfactorily (except in Super Smash Bros. Brawl). I was also able to modify it, to put Homebrew thus allowing me to download and install an Internet Browser on to it, so I don't feel left behind by the PS3. Fortunately, my cousin purchased one, so whenever I feel for a dose of Sony's gigantic powerhouse, I can easily pop over to his house for a quick game. :) Good lck and happy myLotting! [xXTrizzleXx]
I've had all three systems and I think I enjoy the Wii the best. PS3 was brought back a week after it was bought simply because for me it wasn't worth it. I didn't need all the added features and wasn't likely to ever use them. I like the xbox 360 but the remotes are a bit big for me and are hard for to use well. Besides I don't feel like a couch potato when I'm using my wii. [milagrosdavila47]
As far as I am concerned XBox 360 is the best option. The console supports any type of game you want to play [harifriends16]
That's good! Most of those who commented in this discussion including me has favored the xbox 360! But we can't jump to a conclusion too early. Let's see what the others have to say too! [pranavpillai93]
Ahh, I have all three consoles, but my overall favourite is the Xbox 360. I have to say that it has the best online interfaces and is the most user friendly and easy to use. Also, it's not overly complicated, for example, in 1-2 hours you could pick any game up, even if you had never played a computer game before. [Sparkz95]
It's good to see that you like the xbox 360! [pranavpillai93]
I will choose nintendo wii! because it's the newest and my boyfriend want it so much,,lol^^,, but I know the price is expensive so maybe if you can give me one for free I'll feel really thankful to you, hahaha^^,, I don't really understand about games but sine my bf is a game addicted so I know a little about it^^,, [ChrysanTflower]
Why don't you play video games on your dates lol! [pranavpillai93]
well i have a ps3 and am pretty proud of it. i mean, it has everything that you might need at home, play games, dvds, blue-ray, surfing the web and even run windows on it(with a little research and help). however, no gaming console can ever take on a PC, i also have a up to date PC and in terms of quality consoles dont even come close :) [Warhead47]
ps3 for me. So many things you can do with it. Mine is backwards compatible to I can still play those classic games i played when the ps1 came out. I can watch movies from my laptop, I can watch blue ray, also can get on the internet with it... Its nice. I had a wii and a xbox 360... To me the WII is so overrated. not nearly as fun as everyone made it out to be. The 360 was pretty cool but lacked some things i get with my ps3 [cassiendustin]
Even I like the ps3 but I think I like the xbox 360 more! [pranavpillai93]
I have an xbox 360 and a wii and love them both. I do prefer the xbox slightly because I love the games Halo Wars and Halo 3 and can't wait for the upcoming Halo additions: Reach and ODST orthe next call of duty: modern warfare 2. The wii is more fun to take out with friends or family during a get-together. I considered buying a ps3 but there just aren't enough games specific to it that I want to play badly enough to buy it.
