i think next month i go to buy a wii, what are your impression about this console? do you suggest me to buy it?

I don't have the Wii but I've played it several times at a friends house, and I think the wii only succeeds through a couple games, and if you have friends that regularly come over. If you do buy the Wii don't buy red steel, when I played it the sensitivity and controls were extremely difficult to get used to. [Undrsiege]

The Wii is a horrible piece of junk! Don't waste your money on one. Save up and get an Xbox 360. That is unless of course you like little kid games and plan on playing Mario and Zelda for the rest of your life. Then by all means go ahead and buy a Wii. [Wii_H8ter]

I have a wii and it is a great for the whole family system. My wife normally doesn't play games but with the wii we end up playing a lot of games together. There are some really fun single player games and first person shooters such as Red Steel also. [Toonafeesh]

I have mixed feelings about the Wii. It is a really interesting and new way to play video games and it is relatively cheap considering all of the functionality that it has. I have played on it several times and it is great for parties. If you're going to buy the system make sure that you have a large area to set up the console in because you'll need the room to move around. The sensor isn't the best. I'm hoping that they will make it better with future releases but for now it can be a little bit annoying. It's important to have the sensor in the right position otherwise the wii remote won't have very good accuracy. [xdreamoz]
tank's, i think i can put the sensor just under my tv, i got a window on the left of the tv, but there are a lot of sun in that position, i hope dosen't make some noise [morph3us]

you should defiently buy it, but just make sure you have plenty of room around your tv so that you do not end up hitting the tv with your controllers. I have teh Wii and it is a huge imporvment on gamecube and the best console to come out this year. [vishnix101]

My friend owns one that he keeps in his dorm room. We have had a blast playing. I really enjoy the games and find the console fairly simple to use. There are a lot of neat features such as the Mii, which is where you can create your own player. I would def. suggest buying another remote, but look on ebay or some other auction site to find it.
