I'm a great star wars fan..........such a saga is unthinkable and lucas has proved his imagination in this series..........I'll put the story in a few lines.......people who got special powers(called the force )use it to do good to the people of the universe they r called Jedi's and same set of people they want to attain thier goals/victories through unfair means they r the Dark jedis.The jedi forsee in future that one man will put a end to the dark jedi's they meet a young boy anakin who seem to resemble these traits....they train him...he falls in love and become so attached to his lova he turns into a dark jedi his son luke is seperated from him and the jedi train him as a jedi hoping to undo their mistakes.....the son finally meets his father and tries to convert him back to the path of light....he succeeds and his father destroys the emperor of evil sith who converted anakin to dark side....then luke takes up the task of training more jedi and save the people from dark jedi(SEE THE MOVIES FOR DETAILED STORY)...so how many mylot people r fans of Star wars?

I love STAR WARS. My favourit is going to have be the final one (Episode 6, where Luke discovers who his father is.) I also LOVE Episode 1. I love the whole Star Wars saga. Both sets of moving are excellent. Thats not a bad short description, but the universe doesn't actually revolve around the Jedi (this is how the sith would think). As far as people know in the movies, there were only two sith remaining and they were destroyed at the end of Return of the Jedi. But there are always bad people out there. [sunsetigerlily]

You should see it. The episode 4 was launched in 1986 or 1987, then followed 5 and 6 .... THEN Lucas launched the episode 1, 2, and 3 about 20 years later. Doesn't that at least makes you curious ?? [yorgaki]

I saw star wars over 25 years ago. It was a real novelty at that time. We did not have DVDs and in Sri Lanka even a video casette player was a bit of luxury. But our cinema halls were wonderful. Star wars did another thing by having a sequel and a trialogy. This was not very common at that time. I saw all the three movies (considered as 4,5,6 at present) and enjoyed them. Then Star Wars did it again. They improved the earlier versions and also made a prequal. After 25 years they went into produce 1,2 and 3. That is a great idea. I enjoyed all six of them. Big Star Wars fan here. How well I remember 1978 LOL (makes me feel old saying this) and standing in line to see this awesome film. I do enjoy the new saga but still have a preference for Star Wars/Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I have also read books that have been written based on the first trilogy and spanned the storylines. Great stuff. [feralcat]
I personally am more of a fan of the original trilogy than what I have been of the prequels. Although I did enjoy TPM, and AOTC, they definitely were not as well done as A New Hope or Empire. I think the general criticisms of the first two prequels was lack of good story, and poor acting. First I would like to say that the acting is much better in Revenge of the Sith than the first two prequels, but what truly stood out in this movie was the story. It was delivered perfectly, for the first time since Empire, Lucas connected emotionally with his audience. Just as Anakin eventually brings balance to the force, Revenge of the Sith will bring balance back to the Star Wars Universe....anyways .... i like the series a lot [9885773673]

Wellll, Star Wars was great in 1977. I knew there will be more Star wars series coming. But it seems its the same old "LUCAS" way of making the film. I found the the story line was a bit boring.
