I play a well-known one called RuneScape i readed in its website some weeks ago that it have enter in the guines boock becouse it is the most played or the best MMORPG i dont remember well, becouse they has just updated some amazing new grafics for premium member only and full screen mode. It is free to play but premium membership cvost about 6 dollars. The company that owns it is Jagex Ltd.

I used to play online games. But I don't pay any membership just like to play at yahoo POOL. But now, I don't have time anymore to play online games. Because I am mother and work at home mother. I play Runescape as well! I'm so looking forward to the updates this month and the rest of the year, especially the new PVP worlds!!! I also frequent Pogo and play scrabble with my mom :D and sometimes live search club. There are times too where I get fed up with playing all of that so I jump on Counter Strike or Day of Defeat. I played runescape YEEEAARRSS ago The i started playing Guild Wars but i havent played that now in over a year. I find that online games only excite me for a short time then i loose interest, which is why I never use the pay monthly ones ooh wait actually I did get Final Fantasy 11, I played it for about a week, then got confused and bored and cancelled my membership (which is weird cos i usually LOVE the final fantasy games), luckily i didnt have to pay for it becuase i was still in my free trial. I would say you need to give Rune another try. They've upgraded a lot of stuff. They have all kinds of new skills. And now I'm hearing the wilderness is gone. Good grief! What next? Looking forward to the new stuff, but my graphics card won't support the new 3D stuff. Someday soon, tho. lol [wyte059tyger]
I have heard of Runescape, but chose to play at www.battleon.com instead. The Adventure Quest games are simple and more or less mindless hack and slash fun. I do not play it anymore either, but I do play online with my PS3, currently doing a lot of play on Battlefield: Bad Company. [ArsonCuff]
I play AdventureQuest and Dragonfable, which is a spinoff of adventurequest. Both these worlds are based on puns, so beware! lol Some of the early graphics were pretty strange, but they're upgrading a bit at a time. Fun for a while. [wyte059tyger]

I used to play socom 3 online, but now tha only game i play online is Tales of pirates. Its a free n fun game. Ofc like most free online games u can pay to. You can buy mall points there if u want, which can really help u earn in game money n whateva u need. I played runescape for a bit, then forgot all about it. Thanks for reminding me, I might have to go check it out again. I also play pogo all the time, and occasionally I play Realms of Kaos which is really fun as well. It's not flashy at all, it's more like a flash back to much older RPGs which is what I like about it. [sabbatha]

I play a lot of Xbox online. I love to play Halo 3. I think Xbox has the best system for online play out of any of them. It is easy to find a game even if none of your friends are online. [happythoughts]
One of the reasons runescape is so popular is that it's a browser based game. The software is based on java and flash, so most likely no downloads are needed. Unless of course there flash wasn't already installed. Without the need of so much downloading and installing, users can get to the game a lot quicker. [SonicGamer]

Yes I used to play online games. I used to play Runescape a very long time ago back when the graphics were 2d. I thought it was a lot more fun back then and when they made the graphics 3d I quit the game. Now the online games I play the most are Warcraft 3 DOTA and Silkroad online on a private server.
