My daughter now is playing Resident Evil on playstation and her younger sister is laughing at her coz she feel nervous and afraid when the monster are attacking her. and when the door opened and shot it loud.

I love horror games, there's just something about them, the excitement, the anticipation, the caution, and them Bam! something scary comes your way. I guess we all like to feel scared sometimes, that's why we love roller coasters, it's just to see to what limits we can push ourselves to. Also, these horror games, are so interesting and they have great stories, which makes it even better. Most of my favorite game are of the horror genre. You can really immerse yourself in the story. A good horror game and a good horror movie can really be entertaining. [vega83]

my late brother was fond of this games..he is playing the house of the dead and the wolfenstein and i always get scared when they just appear out of nowhere..i feel so nervous and scared..i would always scream and he will laugh at me all the time..i don't play those kind of games..i just don't like scary things and movies as well because i feel like they are everywhere around me. Yes to that. I've always been a great fan of video games. When I was 5 months pregnant with my son, I tend to get bored sometimes. My husband bought me a playstation and so many games. My first horror video game was Resident Evil. What I do was finish my household chores first and when I'm ready for some relaxation, I start playing with my playstation. I got goosebumps eveytime I start playing that game. The sound effects were really creepy, that I found myself looking over my shoulders sometimes.LOL. And I make sure that I only played this game at daytime. [jcj_111776]
I've tried putting off the sounds but the fun of playing it was lessened. I guess I like being scared by the eery sound of a door opening and the sound of a zombie nearby. I finished the whole games plus the other three sequels, all at daytime. [jcj_111776]
Also psychologically, watching horror movies/games, films involving torure disturbs my mind and it may have some repercussions on my day to day action and hence I want to keep my mind at peace with watching good, moving with good people!! [ssh123]
Me and my children enjoy playing this type of game. We enjoy playing silent hills and resident evil. Aside from this, we also love playing chasing games. One would act as a ghost or a monster while the rest run away. Horror theme adds life to our chasing games and I could see that they are really having fun. [hersmart4ever]

I love playing Resident Evil, I finished playing the "Nemesis" version of it. I think this can sometimes jolt me up, but I love it whenever my friends gets surprised at times. Some are laughing, crying(because of the story!LoL) and other's do jump out from where they are seated!;) Some of those scary games I also loved playing were, "Dino Crisis" (1 & 2) and the most scary game I ever get to play, "Along in the Dark." I don't like playing horror games because it would make me feel too nervous and I would freak out! I remember I had a harry potter game awhile back on XBOX and I was playing it, and I had the sound on. Then I found myself being scared and freaked out and couldn't really perform in the game! From then on, I just quite playing things which appear to be scary to me! Because I tend to have weird dreams too at night if I play or watch something scary during the day. Most games never bothered me, but years ago i rented and played the first 'Silent Hill' game. That one was really spooky in a creepy kind of was and actually gave me the feelings of a good horror movie. [rhinoboy]

I enjoy horror games because you have no idea what is going to happen next. It's like first you kill that zombie, next there is a boss you have to fight. Horror games are full of suprises. That is why i like them. When I play, I dont laugh hystericly, I usually jump and get shocked when something scary happens. After you beat it, its like Thank goodness I beat it because horror game are somtimes long and hard to beat because most of them are M games. [spiderlizard22]
